Hi, I am Prasenjit Pal, a Ph.D. student in Physics at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. I work in theoretical condensed matter physics under the guidance of Prof. Prashant Kumar.
My research interests lie in strongly correlated quantum matter and quantum many-body systems, with a particular focus on the quantum Hall effect, quantum Hall transitions and quantum criticality, especially in the presence of disorder.
Theoretical study of interacting quantum systems and strongly correlated phases of matter.
Investigation of quantum many-body states, correlations, and emergent phenomena in interacting systems.
Study of quantum Hall systems, strongly correlated electronic states, and fractional quantum Hall physics.
Study of quantum phase transitions between quantum Hall states, critical phenomena, universality, and the role of interactions and disorder in quantum Hall transitions.
Study of topological states of matter, their properties, and emergent phenomena in quantum many-body systems.
